Sangita Jindal

The President of Art India and Chairperson of the JSW Foundation, Sangita Jindal is a patron of the arts and a revivalist at heart. She strategizes and oversees several impactful social development projects within the JSW Group.

As a philanthropist who believes in the transformative powers of art the Jindal Art Center (1994) was set up by her at the National Center for the Performing Arts in Mumbai, India as a hub of interdisciplinary arts activity promoting social change.

Ms Jindal has always fostered dialogue around art and heritage, notably through the publication of the Art India Magazine, which has been a chronicler of Indian Arts for over two decades. Her restoration efforts have earned her several accolades including Vogue India’s ‘Heritage Keeper of the Year’ and the Golden Peacock Award for Social and Cultural Leadership.
